Julie, a new Falun Dafa practitioner since January 2021, came across Falun Dafa practitioners doing gentle exercises one day while taking a stroll in the park. She had been wondering about practicing Falun Dafa not long before then, and gained many health benefits in just one month after joining the practice.
Julie had been experiencing many discomforts throughout her body before her practice, having gone through many surgeries, and was also easily agitated. She tried prayer, yoga, and meditation, but nothing worked. To her surprise, she felt much better after doing the Falun Dafa exercises, and her mental state also improved greatly after reading Falun Dafa books.
By practicing Falun Dafa, Julie was able to let go of many attachments, and noticed improvement in her spiritual level as well. She said “When I started, I was only concerned with improving my physical health. I didn’t expect my moral standard to improve as well.” One of her kids also noted her changes and said “Mother, Falun Dafa works. You are much calmer now.”
Julie knows how she needs to emphasize improving her character and enduring hardships as a Falun Dafa cultivator, realizing that she is constantly changing for the better as she does so. She said that with all the other practices she tried before, Falun Dafa was the best one she had ever seen and unbelievably wonderful.
