At the time, he often had to go to the hospital because of urinary stones, but three days after this treatment, the stones were not discharged and the pain was unbearable.
He went to the hospital and the doctor recommended surgery, but a lung examination was required before the surgery, that led to a startling discovery – a tumor roughly the size of a baseball, measuring about 8 cm, in his lung.
Mr. Huang’s physical condition had no cancer signs before.
Mr. Huang recalled that he liked table tennis and played for two to three hours almost every two days for many years. However, two or three years ago, he felt extremely breathless when climbing the stairs, and it was even difficult to climb from the second floor to the third floor. He thought it was because of his age and his physical strength declined.
The diagnosis was a rare form of cancer called neuroendocrine tumor (carcinoid tumor), with only 70,000 clinical cases reported in the United States. The doctor said, once diagnosed, the basic survival period is no more than two years, and the results are similar whether chemotherapy is performed or not. This made Mr. Huang and his family fall into deep fear.
“The doctor said if you don’t have surgery, you’ll need emergency care within two months, and they might not be able to save you then.” – Huang Chaoming recalled.
The doctor recommended chemotherapy and emphasized that it was the only way to temporarily prolong life. However, despite the doctor’s recommendation for immediate chemotherapy, Mr. Huang and his wife, Mrs. Huang, made an unusual decision.

Despite the urgency emphasized by medical professionals, Huang Chaoming and his wife made an unconventional choice. They decided to forgo chemotherapy, a decision influenced by witnessing a friend’s suffering through cancer treatments.
Mrs. Huang said that she accompanied a friend through the pain of chemotherapy. She was indescribable how painful it was to watch her friend undergo the process of cutting and electrotherapy. She knew that this chemotherapy would be even more painful for Mr. Huang.
Huang Chaoming and Mrs. Huang chose to calm down and face this sudden disaster. They returned to the countryside and lived in a resort. While Mr. Huang was on vacation, he felt a silent voice telling him: They want to give you a disease name for chemotherapy. He understood it instantly and decided not to accept the treatment.
After returning to Taichung city, they went to the hospital again, but the doctor had no idea what to do with this rare condition and recommended another checkup. The results confirmed the diagnosis of carcinoid, and the doctor recommended the highest intensity chemotherapy.

Introduction to Falun Gong
In early October, a friend recommended Mr. Huang to read Zhuan Falun and suggested practicing Falun Gong, a spiritual practice that combines meditation, gentle exercises, and moral teachings.
At first, due to the long-term negative propaganda he had received, Mr. Huang was skeptical about Falun Gong. But one evening, curiosity got the better of him. He started reading about the practice and was surprised to find teachings filled with kindness and positivity. Inspired by what he read, Mr. Huang decided to give Falun Gong a try.
Unexpected Health Improvements
Mr. Huang said that when he started practicing Falun Gong, he did not think that it would help his condition. However, when he studied Zhuan Falun seriously and practiced the five sets of Falun Gong exercises every day, he experienced a series of unexpected health improvements. Within two weeks, his 20-year-long problem with nasal drip disappeared.
He said that nasal drip made his sleep quality very poor and he often had difficulty falling asleep. However, one morning, he felt particularly irritated in his nasal cavity, and after sneezing, he suddenly felt much better.
He also noticed improvements in other areas of his health, including the resolution of his long-standing urinary tract stone issues.
